You may select your own team members - I will need email from each person in the class telling me which team you are in (and for obvious reasons the team assignments should all agree). If you do not wish to select your own team, I'll assign you to teams using some randomization algorithm. Once a team has defined itself you are in the team for the duration.

It is up to you to get your teams to work. If you have trouble I'll meet with individuals or with teams as a group to discuss the problems.

If, after joining a team, you discover that the team is likely to have trouble (a member who is overbearing, a member who is lazy, a member who disappears), it is your responsibility to let me know as early as possible in the term. If you do so, and do so in a timely manner, I'll either find a way to help you in the process or I'll know about the problem and be prepared to take it into consideration when I grade the assignment. Wait until the end of the term though and I'll be unlikely to do much.

Part of your post mortem teaching/postmortem.html for the assignment will be to make notes on your other team members. Feel free to express your appreciation for their work as well as your frustration with working with them. Anything said here will be confidential unless you specifically indicate otherwise.
